¡Hola! My name is Sheena, and I have lived in Seymour since 1998, when I married Dale Isaacs. I have twenty-five years experience teaching all levels of Spanish, and I am beginning my ninth year teaching Spanish at Seymour High School. I have also worked for the Seymour Police Department as an interpreter. Having the opportunity to be a Seymour Fighting Owl and working with the students and parents of this community is a dream come true! We will be using Google Classroom during the 2021-2022 academic year. (Students are automatically enrolled in each Google Classroom this year via Harmony/Clever.) All content, resources, and assignments are on my Google Classroom pages. On eLearning Days, students will go to their Google Classroom page to find their assignments and information, and they will submit their work via Google Classroom.

I have been blessed to serve as a Technology Integration Specialist for 16 years at Seymour Community Schools. It has been wonderful to see how our staff have grown and met many challenges during the past 4 years of our 1:1 implementation. I love sharing the good things I see from our staff as well as the rich experiences from serving on the HECC board for 8 years, attending many conferences, and trainings. Working on creative solutions to problems brings me great joy. My passion is to help and encourage those around me. My faith and family are my source of strength.
