Important SHS Programming Changes for October 9th PSAT Administration

On October 9, we will administer the PSAT to all Sophomores and Juniors at SHS. To facilitate this, we will create a testing schedule that allows classroom teachers to oversee the PSAT in their classrooms, which will take approximately 3 ½ hours. We will adjust our lunch times accordingly, and students who are testing will be able to attend classes at the end of the day. Please note the following details for October 9:

• Freshmen will NOT come to the building; they will stay home to complete eLearning assignments.
• Sophomores and Juniors will come to school, take the PSAT, and use the end of the day to complete eLearning assignments.
• Seniors are encouraged to use this day for College Visits, Job Shadows, or Community Service. They will also have eLearning assignments to complete. It is crucial for ALL seniors to fill out the following form to document their plans for this release day: Senior Release Day Form.
• Academy students will attend school as usual.
