Transportation systems class looks at the various components that encompass the movement of people and goods. Major modes of transportation are studied including Highway, Air, Water, Rail, and Pipeline. Students will design and build a glider to fly in the gym. Engine operation is explored and students will tear down and rebuild a small gas engine. The relationship between weight and drag will be explored as students build a CO2 powered dragster.
