Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship  The scholarship of up to $2,500 for colloege or post-secondary technical schooling is awarded to an Indiana High School Senior whose parent is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer.  February 10, 2023
Scholarship for Journalism Diversity $20,000 to a high school senior with a grade point average of 3.0 or better who is preparing to enter college and intends to become a journalist who will bring diversity to U.S. journalism. February 15, 2023
Gordon A. Rich Memorial Scholarship Nine $50,000 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors who plan to enroll as a full-time first year student in pursuit of a four year bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university in the United States, and have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and rank in the top 20% of their class. February 16, 2023
IAPD Scholarship Program Seventeen $5,000 scholarships awarded to students who have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Must submit a 500 word essay. February 24, 2023
Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship $5,500 awarded to student who has a 3.5 GPA and a plan on majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Must have a total SAT score of 1220 or higher and/or an ACT composite score of at least 27. February 28, 2023
Veterans United Foundation Scholarship  Fifty $3,000 scholarships awarded to students who plan to be enrolled in college, trade/vocational school, or graduate school for the semester following the REACH Grant application period. Student must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average. February 28, 2023
Equal Opportunity Scholarship Two $500 scholarships awarded to a current high school or college student who has a minimum 2.0 grade point average. February 28, 2023
Loretta M. Burd Scholarship The Centra Foundation awards one $2,500 scholarship per Centra location to graduating high school seniors. Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria: academic achievements, school and community involvement, and a written essay related to financial literacy. February 28, 2023
Kiwanis Club Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship provided by the Indiana Kiwanis Foundation. Open to any graduating senior attending an Indiana college or university. The scholarship application can be found in a format that can be typed then printed on the website. The forms cannot be submitted online, only typed and filled in and then printed for submission. If you'd like a paper copy, please stop by Student Services.

Greater Seymour Trust Fund Scholarships The Greater Seymour Trust Fund offers an array of scholarships benefiting Seymour, Jackson County, and other surrounding counties. Unless otherwise noted, the scholarships are available for only the freshman year of college. Applications for these scholarships are evaluated, to varying degrees, based on need, academic achievement, and school and community involvement. Check out the listing of available scholarships in the Greater Seymour Trust Fund on the website. Non-Masonic Scholarship Application
Jackson Masonic Lodge #146 F & AM will award up to twelve $500 non-Masonic scholarships based on scholastic achievement and financial need. *Please note that the application must be returned by certified mail and postmarked no later than March 1, 2023. **Must stop by Student Services to recieve packed of detailed instructions.  March 1, 2023
Daughters of American Agriculture Scholarship Two $1,000 scholarships awarded to a student who meets the criteria. Must be a woman who plans on studying agriculture leadership, communications, rural sociology, medicine, or any other courses directly related to agriculture. March 1, 2023
Ellevation Scholarship Ellevation is awarding a total of ten $2,000 scholarships to deserving multilingual learners pursuing higher education. In addition, all scholarship recipients will have access to networking opportunities and mentoring for the 2023-2024 school year through the Ellevation community. March 2, 2023
2023 Rumpke Medora Landfill Scholarship Two available $2,500 scholarships for graduating seniors in Jackson County, IN pursuing a two or four year degree at an accredited institution, including vocational/trade schools, after graduation are eligible. Dependents of Rumpke employees are not eligible for this scholarship.  March 10, 2023
Richard Holland Memorial Scholarship $10,000 award for student who plans to enroll or be enrolled in a full time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university. Must have a minimum 3.5 GPA. March 15, 2023
Horatio Alger Scholarship Seeks to assist students who have demonstrated integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity, strenghth of character, financial need, a good academic record, commitment to pursue a college education, and a desire to contribute to society. To qualify, you must have at least a 2.0 GPA and require financial assistance to attend college. March 15, 2023
Schneck Foundation Allied Health Scholarship

The Schneck Foundation accepts scholarship applications for the Allied Health Scholarship. This scholarship is for eligible candidates who are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in a clinical / technical healthcare field (including, but not limited to, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Physician Assistant, and Surgical Technology students)

2023 IAG Merit Scholarships IAG awards three merit scholarships. Students may apply for all scholarships for which they are eligible. Please review the three different types of merit scholarships on the website and the scoring criteria. The award amount for each scholarship is $2,000. March 24, 2023
Judy M. James Memorial Scholarship Non-renewable scholarship of $1,000. The applicant must have become a member of Bar-Cons Federal Credit Union prior to March 31, 2022. *Must stop by Student Services to pick up application.* March 31, 2023
Kezian Science Scholarship Awarding $1,200 to help deserving science students. Applicants are required to be high school seniors majoring in a science field and pursuing advanced education.  March 31, 2023
United Producers, Inc. Scholarship United Producers, Inc. is offering up to 10 $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school students. The purpose of the scholarship program is to help and encourage deserving students to pursue higher education. Applicants can be a member, or a child/grandchild, of a UPI member. Applicants who are not a member, child, or grandchild of a UPI member can also be nominated by a member. April 1, 2023
I.S.A. Scholarship Program Indiana Sheriffs' Association Scholarship for students committed to pursuing an education and career in a law enforcement field at an Indiana college or university. All applicants must be a current member of the association or a dependent child or grandchild of a current member of the association. If you're not, you may join. *Must pick up scholarship application and membership application in Student Services* April 1, 2023
The Seymour Noon Lions Scholarship Scholarship Selection is based on scholastic rating, citizenship, moral character, and need. This scholarship is open to all Jackson County seniors. This is a one time scholarship for graduating seniors paid directly to the school of choice. This is not eligible for online degrees. *Must pick up scholarship application in Student Services* April 1, 2023

Jackson County Extension Homemakers Health and Human Sciences Scholarship

$500 scholarship available to a Jackson County senior who has chosen to study a career in the Health and Human Sciences Field (Registered Dietitian, Family Consumer Science Education, Child Development, Textiles, Chef School, etc.) April 3, 2023
Jackson County Sertoma Scholarship $1,000 awarded to student who pursues studies in one of the health science related fields. Scholarship recipients will receive award at the beginning of their sophomore year in college provided they have retained a major in one of the health sciences. *Must pick up application in Student Services* April 15, 2023
Student-View Scholarship Program  The 2023 Student-View Scholarship Program is offering $12,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college, or career school. The program includes: One $5,000 scholarship, two $1,000 scholarships, and ten $500 scholarships. All Indiana seniors who apply for the Student -View Scholarship will also be automatically entered into the drawing for the new $500 Indiana Senior Scholarship. *No minimum SAT score or GPA, no essay, no application fees.* April 23, 2023
Bartholomew County Conservation Council, Inc. Bill Newton Scholarship Any graduating senior in Jackson County Indiana may apply. The graduate must plan to attend a four-year academic or technical or two-year associate level program. $1,500 in scholarship money. **Must stop by Student Services to pick up a list of requirements and essay questions** For more information, please contact Bill Stott at Must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2023
